The “Kick – off workshop on Energy – efficient Water management for Industrial parks (ERWIN)” held on March 20, 2018, was successfully took place with the valuable, enthusiastic participation of delegates from representatives of IPs, EPZs, managers from Governmental agencies, scientists, teachers from universities and students. ERWIN is a German-Vietnamese bilateral cooperation project funded by Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety - BMU (Germany), with partners from the Technical University of Berlin , LAR Process Analyzes AG, Faculty of Environment and Natural Resources, CARE Center, Ho Chi Minh University of Technology.

The objective of the workshop was to find a cooperative partner (IZ / EPZ) and a project objective to propose a plan for the management and operation of wastewater treatment systems in the industrial zone with high efficiency and low energy costs through adjusting the operating parameters accordingly. With reports from experts in Germany and Vietnam, the sharing between the parties at the workshop and many valuable contributions from the delegates. We believe that the results achieved after the workshop are very positive, contributing to the success of the ERWIN project in the future.
